B -- ECOLOGICAL UNIT INVENTORY SOL RFP R6-20-96-31RD DUE 081696 POC Contact Point, Contracting Department, Paulene - 541/883-6739 or Denise - 541/883-6804 The Winema National Forest and the Rogue River National Forest are soliciting offers for performing Ecological Unit Inventories. The work will be performed using an integrated resource approach. This will require knowledge and experience in soils, plants and geology. Awards will be made on a Forest basis to one contractor for all needs of one Forest. Contractors may propose on both Forests. Proposals will be evaluated twice where a contractor offers a price on both Forests; once for all the Winema N.F. work and again for all of the needs of the Rogue River N.F. Both Forests have options to renew for two additional years work. This project is located at the Winema National Forest, Klamath County, Oregon, and the Rogue River National Forest, Jackson County, Oregon. The estimated start date is September 20, 1996. (0198)
