Y -- INSTALL NEW DOMESTIC WATER LINE SOL FWS-6-96-1031 DUE 091796 POC Cathleen Murray, Procurement Assistant, 303/236-5412 x This is a pre-solicitation notice to all potential offerors to furnish all labor and equipment necessary to install approximately 12,500 feet of Government furnished 4 inch PVC domestic water supply pipeline and appurtenances. Work includes all clearing, excavation, backfill, compaction and installation, disinfection and testing of piping, valves, and fittings to make a complete and operable system. The new domestic water supply pipeline shall be installed without disruption of the existing system until final tie-ins are made at the old cistern and the Ouray Park Water Improvement District pipeline. Old system shall be abandoned in place. The cistern will be demolished by the Station personnel. The site of the work is at the Ouray National Wildlife Refuge, located near Vernal, Utah. The solicitation will be issued on or about August 15, 1996. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered. Government Estimate is between $100,000 and $250,000. (0197)
