The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue orders on multiple occasions over the period of Basic Ordering Agreement N00024-96-G-4239 with Dresser Rand Services Division, Steam Turbine Parts & Services, 37 Coats Street, Wellsville, NY 14895-0592. Orders will be issued to upgrade assemblies, subassemblies, special tools, as well as provide product improvement and other material necessary to support the main propulsion and power generator equipment for ship classes. Orders will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1). Dresser Rand is the maintainer of the repository for all the design engineering data and as-manufactured data for this equipment. It is the only company which possesses the proprietary rights to the processes required to produce identical and interchangeable components. No other source has the technical qualifications and the necessary resources to perform the work described herein, nor will any other supplies or services satisfy the Navy's requirements.
