PRESOLICITATION NOTICE. Expand Galley, Building 8840, Eglin AFB, FL. Estimated bid opening date of 9 Sep 96 is only an estimated date. In general, the work shall consist of the construction of two building additions totaling approximately 2,200 square feet providing additional dining, food preparation, and storage areas. The food preparation expansion will incorporate new interior entrances to the existing walk-in refrigeration and freezer units currently accessed from the exterior. The building HVAC, fire protection, and electrical systems will be expanded to services these new areas. The structural system will be a steel frame structure with CMU infill walls similar to the existing. The roof system will be fiberglass shingles on rigid insulation over metal decking. Estimated dollar range is between $250,000 and $500,000. All responsible sources may submit a bid that shall be considered by the agency.
