This project consists of remediation of soils contaminated with pesticides, primarily DDT. The contaminated soil is to be excavated and hauled to an off-site incinerator. Three buildings will be demolished and disposed of at an off-site landfill. The extent of excavation will be determined by sampling and analysis conducted by the contractor. The excavated area will be backfilled, graded, and planted with sod. Chain-link fencing will be demolished and reinstalled. Exterior lighting will be removed and reinstalled.
