The Fleet Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to procure diagnostic radiology services in support of Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune, NC on a full and open competitive basis. The instant acquisition will be processed as a commercial item procurement in accordance with FAR part 12. Contractor services shall include the professional care and management of patients, the evaluation and interpretation of radiographic films, and the administration of all routine and specialized radiographic procedures, including but not limited to the following: routine noninvasive radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, myelography, arthrography, tomography, mammography, ultrasound and small parts sonography, angiography, computer assisted tomography and magnetic resonance imaging. The contractor shall furnish a number of fully trained radiologists sufficient to ensure that one qualified individual provides diagnostic radiology services on a regular schedule. Additionally, the contractor shall furnish radiologists for some on-call coverage of the diagnostic radiology services outside the regularly scheduled working hours. The resultant contract will provide for a base period of performance commencing 01 Oct 96 or date of award, whichever is later, through 30 Sept 97 along with four (4) one-year option provisions. The solicitation will require the submission of cost/price and past performance proposals. It is anticipated that a firm fixed price contract will result from the solicitation. The applicable standard industrial classification code is 8011.
