PRESOLICITATION NOTICE. The work includes providing new corrosion control systems on two existing, above ground, welded steel, water storage tanks and incidental related work. These tanks consist of a 150,000 gallon non-potable water storage tank and a 250,000 gallon potable water storage tank. The corrosion control system shall consist of new interior/exterior tank coatings, and a new galvanic cathodic protection system for each tank. Installation of the new tank coatings shall consist of removal of the existing tank coatings, cleaning of the tanks, containment and disposal of lead and hazardous organics found in the existing tank coatings, and the application of appropriate coatings on interior and exterior tank surfaces. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 23 July 1996 at no charge until supply is exhausted. Contract completion time is 350 calendar days.
