The Defense Supply Center Richmond is considering the award of a Prime Vendor contract for the distribution of commercial style electric motors (FSC 6105), controllers (FSC 6110), generators (FSC 6115), brushes (FSC 5977), and fans (FSC 4140). It is anticipated that the prime vendor will be capable of providing DSCR customers with an electronic catalog listing the items available under the auspices of this contract. Moreover, a successful contractor must be able to provide marketing services for the program as well as training to DSCR customers. The unsuccessful contractor will be capable of receiving orders electronically via POPS. It is expected that delivery will reflect customary commercial practices.
