Adminstration/Bureau of Health Professions has a requirement to conduct
a study to develop strategies for the recruitment, retention and
graduation of Hispanics from baccalaurate schools of nursing.
Specifically, the study will have two (2) purposes. First, the study
will examine the develpement and implementation of successful
approaches taken in the recruitment, retention and graduation of
Hispanic individuals by baccalaureate schools of nursing. Second, key
factors identified through this study will be synthesized to contribute
to the developement of a working model of recruitment, retention and
graduation, thus representing the backbone for efforts to improve the
representation of Hispanics in nursing. Requests may be faxed -
