Tabor, (713) 483-1877 NASA/JSC plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a cost reimbursement contract for the completion of flight projects hardware in development as of November 30, 1996. -- NASA contemplates contracting with Krug Life Sciences, Inc. -- Planned period of performance is from December 1, 1996 to December 31, 1998. See Numbered Note 22. Requests for copies of the RFP must be submitted to the contract specialist or the contracting officer. An ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offers and the ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the contracting officer, but to communicate concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations of interested parties to the appropriate Government personnel and to work to resolve them. When, requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals, or the adjucation of formal contract disputes. Interested parties are invited to call the installation ombudsman, Susan H.
