S -- GROUNDING, LIGHTNING PROTECTION AND METERING SYSTEMS SOL DAAD07-96-B-0111 DUE 082396 POC Contract Specialist Margaret Carrillo (505) 678-5455 (Site Code DAAD07) The solicitation sets forth the requirements for repair, maintenance, replacement and installation of grounding, lightning protection and metering systems throughout White Sands Missile Range and related locations, in accordance with specification WS-Y001-6P, WS-PD-4093-96, dated June 1996. The anticipated price range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 for the total effort with a minimum guarantee of $50,000. The solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis. The anticipated type of contract is a fixed price indefinite quantity. The period of performance is for a one year base period with four one-year options to extend. Exact project completion time will be specified in each delivery order. The successful bidder shall be regularly engaged in lightning protection, system installation and repair, and shall have performed similar type work in completed installations at least 2 years prior to bid opening. All bidders shall provide satisfactory proof of satisfactorily completed lightning installations with their bid. It is anticipated that subject IFB will be issued on or about 22 Jul 96 with estimated bid opening on 23 Aug 96. Solicitation packages are available at no charge.
