Walter Ronten, Negotiator, 617-377- 8474. The USAF Electronic Systems
Center, Systems Acquisition Directorate (ESC/AX) is seeking information
on available products and services to address the problems associated
with processing dates in software applications under its Date Change
Project (DCP). This project will provide information on date processing
issues to ESC programs currently under development and to other
programs in the Defense and Government community at large. The project
has established an initial repository of information on contractors,
suppliers, and vendors with tools, products, or services that can be
applied to this effort. This repository will then be transitioned to
the Software Technology Support Center (STSC) for future revision and
maintenance. The initial repository is located on a website at
http://www.mitre.org/research/y2k/ . This website is accessible by the
general public and will display the following types of information for
each tool, product, or service listed: person submitting information,
tool or product name, company name, initial support date, full support
date, approximate cost, description, experiences with use, hardware
and operating systems required, programming languages handled, type of
support provided (tool, consulting, integrated toolset, conversion
service, or clock simulation), project phase addressed (analyze,
repair, verify, or integrate/system test), and references
(organizations that have used this tool, product, or service). If your
organization offers tools, products, or services that can be applied
to this effort and you would like them listed in the repository, either
(1) visit the website at http://www.mitre.org/research/y2k/ and fill
out the submittal form there or (2) contact Mr. Marc Bastien, at
bastien@sol.hanscom.af.mil and request an electronic mail submittal
form or (3) contact Mr. Marc Bastien at ESC/AXS. 5 Eglin Street,
