(202)685-3140 SOLICITATION NOTICE. This is a Sealed Bid Procurement.
The work includes removal and closure of two 25,000 gallon underground
storage tanks (USTs) at the Naval Radio Transmitter Facility,
Annapolis, MD (NTRF). The work shall include removal and disposal of
tanks numbered 257A and 257B and their associated piping. The tanks
provide diesel fuel to emergency generators in Building 257; they are
single-wall steer USTs with cast iron piping, which were installed in
1966. Closure of the site shall include dewatering, disposal of
contaminated soil, if found, laboratory testing, providing reports
required by regulatory agencies, backfilling with clean fill, and other
incidental related work. The work shall be performed in accordance with
Code of Maryland Regulations COMAR 26.10, Federal Regulations 40 CFR
280, and all other applicable codes and regulations. Construction Range
$100,000 - $250,000. Requests for plans and specifications may be
