Contracting Officer, 805/989-1303. This procurement is for AN/DSQ-37(V)
Scoring Sets, Missile, Non-Cooperative System. The Scoring Sets shall
be manufactured and qualified in accordance with Military
Specification, MIL-S-85688A. Technical data is also required. First
Article Testing is required. However, the solicitation will have a
provision for potential waiver of First Article Testing. The scoring
set is a scalar non-cooperative scoring system using the doppler
principle to obtain air-to-air miss distances scoring information for
aerial and surface targets. The scoring set will be used in both
missile and gunnery type operations where the doppler signal is relayed
via telemetry link to a Naval Range receiving station which records the
raw data. The scoring set shall be comprised of the following
subsystems: an MDI Sensor, a Voltage Controlled Oscillator, a
commercially available Telemetry Transmitter and a Telemetry
Transmitter Bandpass Filter or functional equal. With contract award on
a First Article Testing required basis, the basic contract will be for
1 each First Article Unit, 1 lot First Article Testing, 1 lot Data and
44 each production units and three production options with 50 each
production units and l lot Data for each of the three options. First
Article Unit and First Article Testing shall be completed no later than
300 days after contract award. Delivery of First Article unit shall be
15 days after approval of First Article Test Report. Delivery of
production units shall be at a minimum rate of 6 each per month and
shall begin no later than 180 days after Approval of First Article Test
Report. With contract award on a First Article waived basis, the basic
contract will be for 45 each production units and l lot Data and three
production options with 50 each production units and 1 lot data for
each of the three options. Delivery of the production units shall be at
a rate of 6 each per month and shall begin no later than 180 days after
contract award. Delivery of option production units for Options I, II
and III shall be at the rate of 6 each per month and shall begin 30
days after completion of previous delivery of basic contract's
production units/previous option's production units or 180 days after
exercise of the option which ever is earlier. Delivery of all units
shall be FOB Destination, Naval Air Warfare Station, Point Mugu, CA.
Copies of the specification shall be provided with the solicitation.
