K -- INTEGRATION OF THER SURVIVABLE SECURE COMMUNICATION NETWORK INTO THE MOBILE CNSOLIDATED COMMAND CENTER AND THE MOBILE GROUND TERMINALS. SOL F19628-96-R-0039 DUE 070396 POC Mr. David H. Hawkins, Contracting Officer, 617-271-5482. The Government intends to award a contact to Harris Corporation (1201 E. Abingdon Drive, Suite 500, Alexandria, VA 22314) under the Survivable Secure Communications Network (SSCN) Program. This contract action will provide for implementation and installation of the SSCN into the Mobile Consolidated Command Center (MCCC) at Peterson AFB, CO and the Mobile Ground Terminals (MGTs) at Greeley ANGB, CO. Harris is currently the prime integration contractor for the SSCN program performing under a Cost Reimbursable contract issued by Federal Systems Integration and Management Center. This contract is due to expire 30 Sep 96. As part of the implementation effort under the new contract, Harris will make software and hardware modifications as necessary to the current SSCN and install it into the MCCC and MGT. It is considered that only Harris has the requisite management, technical expertise, SSCN experience and resources to accomplish this effort within the current schedule and budget constraints. Statutory authority for award of this contract is 10 U.S.C. 2304(d)(1)(B) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii) ''Only One Responsible Source.'' However, if your firm believes it could accomplish this effort in the required schedule, submit a qualification package, not to exceed 20 pages, explaining your capabilities.
