A Firm Fixed Price Requirements type contract is contemplated for the Overhaul, Repair and/or modification of the Displacement Gyroscope Applicable to the T-38 Aircraft. Contract contemplated will consist of a Basic Year, plus two One-Year Options. The Items and Estimated Quantities are as follows: CLIN 0001: NSN 6615-01-129-4730; P/N 19005-2A and/or NSN 6615-01-131-5317; P/N: 19005-2B; NOUN: GYROSCOPE; APPL: T-38 ACFT; Basic Year Qty: 600 Ea; Option I Qty: 600 Ea; Option II Qty: 600 Ea: Material: Aluminum alloy, steel, electronic components. Dimensions: 12.188'' Long; 6.385'' Wide; 6.385'' High. Description and Function: During aircraft flight maneuvers, this unit provides references, with respect to earth surface, in azimuth and attitude. It consists of six mechanical gimbals which provide outputs proportional to aircraft flight attitude and azimuth. Deliveries are to Tinker AFB OK. Solicitation will also contain a CLIN for Over and Above Work and a CLIN for Data and Reports to be furnished. Award may include Option(s). No telephone requests.
