99 -- SPECIALIZED SUPPORT FOR EXISTING LEGACY SYSTEM DURING MIGRATION THE NEW SYSTEM SOL RFQ60079(NR) POC Marsha Gorham, Purchasing Agent or Patricia Haun, Contracting Officer at (301)402-4509. The National Cancer Institute (NCI) requires support services of maintaining the existing legacy system while NCI converts to a new system that will be known as FYACCESS. The system currently in use utilizes NIH Wylbur, NIH Wylbur Commmand procedures and Statistical and Analysis System (SAS) programs to maintain data, report on data, and interface with other NIH systems. The contractor shall furnished necessary trained experienced personnel with SAS database management experience and wylbur comand procedure experience. The contractor shall perform maintenance of 15 to 20 wylbur command procedures used by the system; perform maintenance of the 30 to 40 SAS programs used for data maintenance and interface with other NIH and NCI systems; perform maintenance of the 20 to 30 reports associated with system; and perform limited development of new reports to meet essential new reporting requirements that arise during the migration effort and also provide support to the Extramural Financial Data Branch (EFDB) and non EFDB users of FYACCESS as needed in the use of FYACESS. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. The request for quote will be issued on or about 15 days after publication. The closing date will be on or about 10 days after issuance of the request for quote. The offeror must be experienced with using SAS for database management use and must also be experienced with Wylbur and Wyblur command procedures. Therefore, the combination of SAS database experience coupled with Wylbur and Wylbur Command Procedure experience is mandatory. Offerors who feel they have the necessary qualifications must provide resumes of personnel who will be provided, and which detail the experience listed above. Personnel who are not employees of the organization must have letters of commitment which indicates their willingness to work on this project as an employee of the offeror. (0171)
