transportation and supervision required to reset existing pile
supported, steel marine light structure, in shallow water area, furnish
and install four (4) additional steel pile supports and paint the steel
light structure. Job will require a barge with draft of less than 8
feet. Location of work in Irondequoit, NY, north of Rochester on Lake
Ontario. The estimated range is between $25,000 and $100,000.00. The
SIC Code assigned is 1629. Due Date for Bids will be approximately 12
July 1996. Note: There is a non-refundable charge of $15.00 for this
solicitation package. Payment must be in the form of a check or money

(DOT). Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU),
has programs to assist minority, woman-owned and disadvantaged business
enterprises to acquire short-term working capital and bonding
assistance for transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to
any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding
Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, performance and
payment bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80%
guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also
available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime
interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum
