Finn (703) 784-2976,222 SOLICITATION NOTICE. This project is UNRESTRICTED. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC), for this project is 1711- Plumbing, Heating (Except Electric), and Air Conditioning. The size standard is $7.0 Million. The work includes the replacement of heating systems in 39 senior officers quarters. The existing steam system shall be removed as indicated and capped, which includes the removal of the existing steam convertor stations. New high efficiency gas fired boiler shall be installed which will connect to the existing heating piping provided, which will include all incidental work. The projected date of availability of the solicitation is July 5, 1996. The projected bid opening date is 8 August 1996. Contractors within the local area are encouraged to pick up a copy of the plans and specs at the office of the Officer in Charge of Construction, Building 2004, Room 253, Quantico, Virginia. The hours of operation are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. There will be no charge for these documents, however, there will be only one set issued per contractor. Requests for plans and specifications and bidder's list should be made separately to avoid confusion. This also applies to requests for numerous solicitations.
