The Standard Industrial Code (SIC), for this project is 1623- Water, Sewer, Pipe Line, Communication and Power Line Construction. The size standard is $17.0 Million. The work for the Base Bid includes the installation of a water metering system for several housing buildings. The metering system shall provide for automatic meter reading through the use of the existing telephone line network with centralized computer system for determination of water consumption. A sensor pad meter reading system shall also be provided as indicated. Additive Bid Item One is includes the Read Touch System. The projected date of availability of the solicitation is July 8, 1996. The projected bid opening date is August 8, 1996.
