Contracting Officer, Emily Harman, Code 201.2, 202-433-2895 The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, Washington Detachment, Washington, D.C., intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Interactive Circuits and Systems, LTD., Ontario, Canada for a Sonar Beamforming Processor (ICS System 1000). A J&A for other than full and open competion has been prepared. This equipment is proprietary in nature to be utilized with existing hardware. NO SOLICITATION EXISTS; therfore request for such a document shall be considered invalid for the purpose of determining whether the respondent has a bona fide capability to meet the stated requirements. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent the Contracting Officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to the intended scheduled vendor and all firms that respond to this synopsis of intent or otherwise request a copy the solicitation. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. All interested parties shall submit, in writing complete pricing and sufficient technical information to permit agency analysis to establish a bona fide capability to meet the stated requirements.
