FISC Norfolk Det Philadelphia intends to procure the installation and acquisition of facilities for two (2) 2700 pair feeder distribution interfaces (cable boxes) at the intersections of Hovey Road and Army Road, NAS Penbsacola, FL, and Chambers Road and Turner Road, NAS Pensacola, FL. Bell South Telephone and Telegraph Company of Pensacola, FL is the only able to meet the Government's requirement, as they own the cable at NAS Pensacola, FL. A firm fixed price, sole source task order, under DECCO Communication Service Agreement DCA200-87-H-0019, with Bell South, will be awarded. The required delivery date is scheduled for 8 August 1996. The applicable SIC for this procurement action is 4813. All responsible sources may submit concise documentation as to their ability to supply the required supplies as well as financial and technical information which shall be considered by FISC Norfolk Det Philadelphia. If no affirmative written responses advantageous to the Navy are received within fifteen (15) calendar days after publication of this notice, a request for quotation will be issued to Bell South of Pensacola, FL. Note, no contract award will be made on the basis of information received to this notice. Further, the Navy will not pay for any information provided.
