54 -- PRE-FABRICATED CONCRETE COMMUNICATION SHELTERS POC Richard I. Sanders, Contract Specialist, 202/324-2279. This is a Request for Information (RFI). Small businesses and 8 (a) firms are encouraged to respond to this RFI. The Federal Bureau of Investigation is requesting concerns having the ability to furnish the supplies described herein are requested to give written notification (including the telephone number for point of contact) to the procuring office noted above within five (5) days from date of this synopsis for the following items: 1) Two Pre-Fabricated Concrete Equipment Shelters with the following specifications; Outside Dimensions: 11' -6''W x 30'L x10'H, Exposed Aggregate Exterior Finish, Bullet Resistant Steel doors and Locks, R12 Insulation, Pre-Wired electrical system (including outlets, Breaker Panel, and Lighting), main and standby air conditioning/heaters/timers/ventilation system, tiled floor with 3/4'' wood underlayment, halo ground system, Cable entry plate, cable ladder, 10 year structural warranty, and partition wall (only for 1 shelter); 2) 30 KW Generac Generator, 30 KW @220 VAC, operate on liquid propane gas; 3) 200 Amp Generac Automatic Transfer Switch; 4) Set-up arrangement. This shelter shall be pre-constructed and shipped to our office in Quantico, Virginia. Respondents must supply sufficient technical documentation for the Government to determine the ability to meet the above listed requirements. Evidence shall be presented in the following fashion: (1) Ability to perform under this contract, stressing your company's capability. This shall include: (a) Identification of specific experience in constructing Pre-Fabricated communication shelters or similar items. Provide the history, Agency/company, point of contact, phone number, term length, size, and location of previously held and existing commercial/government business commitments/contracts/ in pre-fabrication of shelters. (b) Outline how the shelter will be built. Inform of any intent to subcontract and how the requirment will be fulfilled in compliance with FAR 52.219-14. (c) Indicate the personnel that will be involved in the construction shelters; (d) Describe the logistics for the shipping and setting-up the pre-fabricated shelters. This is a request for information only and will assist this office in determining if any small businesses or 8(a) firms are capable of meeting this requirement.
