9453: Project consists of 5,000 SF facility to provide admin &
warehouse spaces. The facility will be constructed with concrete slab
on grade, split-face CMU walls, metal roof and gutters and metal roof
trusses. The facility will be fully fire- sprinklered. The
administrative and classroom areas will be heated and cooled. Work
includes site work and utilities. Group Headquarters Building. 9504:
Construct a 25,000 SF admin building, consisting of two buildings
connected by an entry vestibule. Main building to be approximately
20,000 SF of offices, conference rooms, testing and printing rooms, and
has interior court yards, electrical power, refrigerated air HVAC, and
telecommunications. The command center will be approximately 6,000 SF
with safe storage and secure areas, training room and offices,
utilities similar to main building, site improvements include
utilities, landscaping, paved drives and parking areas.
Telecommunications building consists of CMU block walls, steel roof and
wall framing, standing seam metal roof. Medical Training Facility,
9505: Construct 3,500 SF building to house classrooms, offices, admin
storage, etc., exterior work includes utilities and site development.
This procurement will be conducted under SIC code: 1542. The size
standard for this SIC code is: $17.0. Large businesses competing for
this project must comply with the FAR 52.219-9 clause regarding the
requirement for a subcontracting plan on the part of the work it
intends to subcontract. The recommended goals for subcontracting are
52.5% for small business, 8.8% for small disadvantaged business, and
3.0% for small business/woman-owned. A firm that submits a plan with
lesser goals must submit written rationale to support goals submitted.
Estimated cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The award of this
project is subject to availability of funds for FY-96 projects. This
project will provide plans and specifications using CD-ROM. The cost of
the CD-ROM shall be $20.00 (twenty dollars). A hard copy of the plans
and specifications will not be mailed out, but may be picked up at the
Sacramento District Plans Room at a cost of $107.00 for specifications
and $51.00 for drawings. All requests for the bidding documents must be
ordered by the DUE DATE of 24 Jun 96. Orders received beyond the DUE
DATE will not be honored. Plans and specifications will be available on
or about 02 Jul 96. Because a limited number of hard copy sets will be
reproduced, copies are limited to one set per firm. Payment by company
check, certified check or money order made payable to the Finance and
Accounting Officer, USAED, Sacramento, must be received prior to
issuance of your order (payment is non-refundable). Payment must be
submitted with order request or delivered in person to USAED,
Sacramento, ATTN: Plan Room, 1325 J Street, Sacramento, CA 95814-2922.
