Boyd (301) 619-4033 The Department of Veterans Affairs/NAC/AFMLO/FOM/VA Special Services is seeking a Lease/Purchase for providing a 40' Mobile (Two-Chair) Commercial Dental Clinic used to provide comprehensive quality dental care located at Spangdahlem Air Base Germany for one basic year with options to extend the term of the contract an additional four years. This unit must be completely self contained and meet the following minimum requirements: chasis of 29,000GVWA, 30 kw water cooled generator w/remote start and hour meter, SS wheel covers, 12 volt power roof vent, bench seat w/lower storage front cab privacy, privacy day/night blinds, 48'' x 24'' tinted windows, ceiling mounted smoke detectors, noise abatement material for compressor and generator, road hazard kit, entrance door w/window w/day/night blinds, stablizing jack, back up camera, drag bars, air transport tie downs, rear tow hooks, lighted hand hold, ditch lights, sinks/plumbing tanks, heater, floor/wall covering, alarm system, cabinetry, A/C heating system, drivers and passengers capatain seats, electric horn, overhead map lights, 125 amp electric main, full undercoating heated remote control mirrors, D.O.T. light package, wheel chair lift, x-ray unit, film processor, autoclave, x-ray film viewers, oilless air compressor, wet/dry vacuum, dental chairs, assistant stools, etc. Interested concerns are requested to send information concerning their product along with an estimated cost of their commercially available unit. The contractor shall provide all parts and materiel, labor, transportation and freight charges as required to maintain the equipment in proper operating condition as specified in the operating arid maintenance maaual. The maintenance shall consist of both preventative maintenance and unscheduled maintenance on the following equipment; The contractor shall perform annual maintenance and any unscheduled maintenance needed. During each inspection the contractor's representative will conduct a systematic check of the entire system for proper operation, correct maiflactions, calibrate as required and replace any worn or defective parts. The manufactarer's accuracy specifications and tolerances shall be adhered to. Maintenance shall be performed during the hours of 0800 and 1600 on Mondays through Friday excluding American and German holidays. The contractor will coordinate, in advance, the specific date and time of the inspections with the Biomedical Equipment maintenance Section. All services shall be performed at the on-site location. Equipment will not be removed from the on-site location without the consent of the responsible property cnstodian and the Biomedical Equipment Mnintenance Office.
