Administration, Headquarter (NASA), intends to procure on a sole source
basis, an award for documentary history on space science under
Statutory 41 U.S.C. 253 (C)(1), as implemented under FAR 6.203-1. This
effort will include research, select, compile, and edit with
introduction historical materials documentating the history of space
science. These materials should be primarily textual, but may include
some graphic material as appropriate. These documentary materials, as
well as the introductory essays,should reflect historically the social,
cultural, economic, managerial, and political dimensions of space
science, as well as its scientific and technical aspects. While the
materials selected should emphasize the role of NASA in the pursuit of
space science for the civilian space program, they should also reflect
influences and ramifications of space science in other countries and
other U.S. agencies including the Dept. of Defense. Period of
Performance will be for one year after award. This notice is for
