Q -- MEDICAL TRANSCRIPTION SOL 603-1-97 DUE 073196 POC Marsha Caudill, Contract Specialist (502) 894-6113 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Louisville, KY has a requirement for complete medical transcription services. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to provide complete medical transcription services to the VA Medical Center, Louisville, KY. Equipment must have the capability to input directly into the Government Decentralized Hospital Computer Program (DHCP) System. Contractor shall furnish a telecommunication system consisting of personal computer, letter quality printer and telephone equipment capable of receiving and transmitting over telephone lines to contractor supplied PC and/or VA DHCP specified programs. Contractor shall provide at Contractor's location, a digital teledictation system that can be accessed by toll-free telephone number(s) for up to l2 simultaneous oll-free telephone users from this VAMC. Completed work is to be transmitted to this facility within 48 hours of dictation. All work assigned high priority/STAT will be transmitted immediately after having been transcribed. The definition of STAT is six hours from the time of dictation completion to transmission of the completed transcribed report. The contract cost will be based on a per line value with an estimated line count of l,250,000 per year. This contract is subject to the service contract act and the place of performance is unknown. Wage determinations have been requested for Kentucky and Indiana. Wage determinations for additional localities will be requested if the request is received in writing no later than July l5, l996. The contract period is expected to be from October l, l996 through September 30, l997 with two (2) one year renewal options. This is a 100% Set-Aside for Small Businesses, SIC 7338.
