PROPAGATION AND INSTALLATION FOR NATIONAL PARKS IN ILLINOIS, INDIANA,
MICHIGAN, MINNESOTA, OHIO AND WISCONSIN SOL 1443-CX-2000-96-017 POC

80225 is seeking a nursery or plant propagation organization to
collect, propagate and install native plants for National Parks in
Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin. Native
plant materials derived from parent stock obtained from the immediate
vicinity of where material will be installed, is needed for
revegetation projects in the described National Parks. The National
Park Service goal of revegetation projects is to revegetate disturbed
sites while protecting the genetic integrity of plants with the parks.
The type of materials to be collected, produced or installed includes
trees, shrubs, vines, woody groundcovers and herbaceous plants native
to upland and wetland ecosystems or plant communities in the Northern
Great Lakes, Southern Great Lakes and Northern Central Plains areas.
The National Park Service will award an indefinite quantity contract to
the successful offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is
most advantageous to the Government, cost and other factors
considered. Individual task orders will be placed to order services as
they are required and the funding becomes available. The total of all
task orders per year will not exceed $500,000. The maximum task order
amount will not exceed $100,000. The selected firm is guaranteed a
minimum amount of $50,000 throughout the life of the contract. The term
of the contract shall be one year with four additional one-year
options. This procurement is set- aside for small business concerns.
The Standard Industrial Code for this procurement is 0831. To the
fullest extent, the NPS welcomes the participation of women and
minority-owned and operated firms. RFP No. 1443- CX-2000-96-017 will be
available on or about the 15th day after this announcement is
