(1) Turbomolecular pump for severe corrosive service. Pumping speed shall be 400 L/S for nitrogen. Inlet flange shall be 8-inch O.D. conflat. Rotor shall be suspended by magnetic bearings. Shall be LEYBOLD Model #TMP340MC or exact equivalent; (2) Frequency converter to power & control turbopump. Shall be LEYBOLD Model #NT340M or equivalent; (3) Interconnecting cables for Items #1 & #2. Shall be KLC Model #LH-85770 or equivalent; (4) Alcatel 2021CP mechanical vacuum pump, 14.8 CFM, prepped for FOMBLIN fluid, for 120 VAC operation. Shall be KLC Model #AV-UM2021CPL or equivalent. This procurement is a 100 percent small business set-aside. This a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-32. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this acquisition is 3561. The Small Business Size Standard is 500.
