Work consists of the general construction of an 8-inch test well. The depth of this well shall be determined by the depth of North Mississippi formation, which is expected to be 300 feet down from the surface. An engineering analysis shall be provided by contractor upon completion and testing of the well. The well shall be drilled at a location and depth necessary to develop a drinking water supply system, based on producing a minimum of 10 gallons per minute (gpm) over a 24 hour time period, and 20 gpm over a 20 minute time period on a daily cycle. A submersible well pump shall be installed. Estimated cost range between $25,000 and $50,000. Requests for copies of the solicitation must be made in writing but can be faxed.
