Courses content shall include but not limited to, instruction on the necessary skills to perform organizational and intermediate (O/I) level repair and maintenance of the ARC-190 HF radio system; which has been upgraded to the ARC-190(V)8, with 11814 control, SELCAL demodulator box, antenna coupler and amnunicator. Primary emphasis of the training should focus on technicians with the skills to perform O/I level maintenance on a daily basis without additional knowledge, skills, or assistance and perform all trained tasks unsupervised and using approved technical data. Training shall include a combination of formal classroom instruction and necessary performance exercises to provide skill proficiency. All interested parties possessing the training capabilities and experience with ARC 190 HF radio training may submit a request for consideration.
