Foley, GP22/Contracting Officer, 205-544-0335 NASA/MSFC plans to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) Dual-channel Digital Servo Controller Cyber Systems Model No. 7030 -- Controllers shall be contained in two chassis with four units max for chassis -- This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT) portion of the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act (FASA) -- Requests for copies of the RFQ must be submitted in writing -- Transmission by facsimile to 205-544-9080 or by Internet e-mail to teresa.foley@msfc.nasa.gov is acceptable -- The RFQ will be posted on or about 15 days after publication of this notice in the Commerce Business Daily (CBD) and on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) -- The RFQ will have a 15 day response period -- This procurement is a total small business set-aside -- An ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors, potential offerors, and contractors during the preaward and postaward phases of this acquisition -- The purpose of the ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the contracting officer or the selection official, but to communicate concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations of interested parties to the appropriate Government personnel and to work to resolve them -- When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern -- The ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of quotes, the source selection process, or the adjudication of formal contract disputes -- Interested parties are invited to call the installation ombudsman, Susan M.
