The intent of the project is to expand the existing fire sprinkler system in the building to provide complete coverage of structure, change some laboratory doors to swing in the direction of exit travel and have the proper fire rating, and create an alternate means of egress in the basement through the addition of drywall partitions and other minor adjustments. The Project is estimated in the $100,000.00 to $250,000.00 range. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be ready for issuance around the 28th of June with a bid opening around the 6th of August. THIS IS NOT A SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE.
