Due to the proprietary nature of the procurement, the Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), intends to issue a sole-source solicitation/contract to Diversified Software Systems, Inc., 1250 E Diehl Rd, Ste 201, Naperville, IL 60563. The solicitation will provide for a one year (01 Oct 96-30 Sep 97) with 4 one-year option period software lease and software maintenance support for Diversified Software proprietary product names: JOB/SCAN and DOCU/TEXT. The software is to be installed on group 70 IBM 9021- 860 CPU and a Group 80 Amdahl 5995-6650M CPU located at DMC- Denver, CO. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 40 U.S.C. 759(g), as amended, specific make and model. Any interested vendors shall indicate interest within 15 days of this notice by providing to the Contracting Officer (FAX 618-256-9414, Attn: Theresa Elliott) evidence of capability to perform and a description of the comparable software. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
