The goal of the Polygraph Data Evaluation Program is to provide an improved system for assessing the data collected during polygraph examinations run in accordance with the Department of Defense Polygraph Institute (DoDPI) procedures. To this end, the JHU/APL will use new data provided by DoDPI to update and improve both the Zone Control Technique (ZCT) and the Modified General Question Technique (MGQT) polygraph scoring algorithms previously developed by the JHU/APL. Studies supporting this goal will also be performed.
