R- The U. S. Department of Education is soliciting a proposal for an indefinite quantity type contract to assist the Postsecondary, Adult and Vocational Education Division (PAVED) and the Department of Education (ED) with data processing technical support in policy analyses and evaluations. This contract will involove literature reviews and syntheses, acquisition and updating of data bases, collection of new data (case studies, panel review, and small-scale surveys), data and policy analyses; and descriptive and outcome evaluations relating to program performance and/or Federal education policy. Technical support shall be provided across a wide range of subject areas relating to key issues in: adult education and literacy, vocational education, vocational rehabilitation, and international education comparisions. Technical support may be required on an as-needed basis where brief work requests would be issued and work performed under tight dealines. RFP-96-033 will be issued on or about June 20, 1996 and will close July 22, 1996. Requests for copies may be made by telephone, mail, telegram, or in person.
