17 -- REPAIR OF REPAIRABLES (ROR) IN SUPPORT OF THE HYDRAULIC TEST STAND, P/N HCT-12 SOL N68335-96-R-0173 DUE 071896 POC Ms. K.R. Kiley Code 2132, (908) 323-5197. Buyer/Contracting Officer is J. Fackenthal. NAWCADLKE has been tasked to initiate a Blanket Ordering Agreement (BOA) with AAI/ACL Technologies for Repair of Repairables (ROR) in support of the Hydraulic Test Stand, P/N HCT-12. The absence of Navy organic depot support, and critical mission requirement, make it imperative to procure product support from AAI/ACL Technologies for the commercial repair/maintenance of the equipment listed above. The need for this ROR is to provide the Navy with a means to establish a prompt turn-around repair for the equipment needed to satisfy the F-14 aircraft mission. The Government intends to negotiate this BOA under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. AAI/ACL Technologies is the sole designer, developer and original equipment manufacturer of the repairable. Firms that recognize and produce the required items are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which may be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. (0157)
