The scope of work includes but is not limited to performance of various environmental remediation services and some related construction, for example, clean-up actions, tank removal and asbestos removal and disposal, sampling, testing, analysis, assessments, etc, predominately located at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland. Proposed amount will be in the form of coefficients to be applied to various line items making up a detailed pre-priced list of tasks encompassing most aspects of facilities environmental work. These tasks form the basis for efficiently describing and negotiating work orders. A separate price and technical proposal is required. The successful contractor will be selected through ``best value'' assessment based on price and technical/management factors. The contract period will be a base year with two option years. The requirement is estimated not to exceed $3,000,000 per annum with a minimum guarantee of 10% for the base year. The standard industrial classification code applicable to this contract will be 8744. The size standard is 500 employees. This is an unrestricted procurement. A pre-proposal conference and site visit will be held on 27 June 1996. Offerors should verify dates and location in solicitation or any issued amendments.
