The Government intends to procure the following under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Furnish and installation of Emergency Communications Telephone & Radio Console Furniture for the Joint ECC of the Camp Pendleton Fire Department and Provost Marshall's offices. Specifications are as follows: Console, dual position, #AVC-USMCFD2b. Quantity 2 each. Supervisors Console, #AVC-USMCFD2a. Quantity 1 each. The Consoles will be constructed with a rugged steel frame design consisting of D brace supports, for the monitor surface and steel weldment to support the Corian work surface. The D brace will be constructed of 14 gauge cold rolled steel formed into a 2'' x 2'' x 2'' channel. The brace shall have five (5) bolt positions to hold cross braces of similar construction. The Corian work surface weldment will consist of 14 gauge 1'' X 2'' tube steel welded to 1/8'' x 1'' X 2'' X 1'' steel channel. The work surface weldment will be of sufficient strength to support the Corian across the whole span, including any equipment and the possibility of a person sitting on this surface. All the steel structures are to be finished with black powder coat finish. Request for Quotation will be available 10 June 1996. This is a Small Business Small Purchase Set-Aside.
