The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor, concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. Aircraft, Commodities and Missile Procurements will be affected. The ''phase in'' process will be by NSN. During this period data may be available on CD-ROM, Floppy Disk, or aperature cards. CD-ROM is the medium of preference. After SEP 1996 data available by CD-ROM will gradually increase. The minimum set-up requirements to view the drawings supplied by OO-ALC areas follows: 386 INTEL 33MHZ processor or higher; 8 MEGABYTES RAM; Any size hard drive; CD ROM reader (1X, 2X OR 4X); 14'' color monitor (17'' is recommended) DOS 5.0 or higher; windows 3.1 or higher, UNZIP software.
