703/440-1505. The United States Department of Interior, Bureau of Land
Management has a requirement for the establishment and operation of
temporary mobile wild horse and burro adoptions in the southern part of
the Eastern States jurisdiction. This work will be performed
predominently in the 11 states which include: Florida, Georgia, South
Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Kentucky, Alabama, Mississippi,
Louisiana, Arkansas and Tennessee. Operation includes haltering,
loading, unloading, watering, feeding and having the equipment to
conduct temporary adoptions for the wild horses and burros supplied by
the Bureau of Land Management under the ''Adopt-A-Horse and Burro''
program. Details will appear in the Solicitation. All requests for
