project requires thinning stands of primarily lodgepole pine to an 11
by 11 foot spacing. Maximum DBH cut limit is 6 inches unless infected
by dwarf mistletoe. Thinning slash shall be lopped to within 18 inches
of the ground. Stand exams for both areas indicate an average stand
density of 1460 trees per acre and a low level of dwarf mistletoe
infection. Estimated acres on Long Park area is 100 and 125 acres on
the Whiterocks area. Solicitation will be issued approximately 6/13/96.
