J -- SOURCES SOUGHT FOR MAINTENANCE, REPAIR, TRAINING ON PICKER MODEL PQ2000 CT SCANNER SOL 544-024-96 DUE 060396 POC Contracting Officer, Linda Grabowski, (803)776-4000x6856 The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 6439 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia, SC 29209 intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Picker International, 4201 Taggert Creek Road, Charlotte, NC 28208 for full maintenance, repair and training on a Picker Model PQ2000 CT Scanner. After completion of training the contract will convert to a shared service agreement for parts and technical assistance to include a special tools kit and extender board. Period covered under this contract will be June 22, 1996 (or date of award if later), through June 21, 1997. Concerns having the capability of providing this service should send their requests in writing to the attention of the Contracting Officer listed in this announcement and must include detailed data concerning their capabilities.
