This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is solicitation CSP-94999-MQ-29 and is issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-32. Bidders shall provide unit price, and total cubic measurements for the following item: One (1) Moulded Rubber Expansion Joint to be used in-between a 22,000 KW Westinghouse Steam Turbine Generator and the steam condenser. It will operate under a normal temperature of 120 degrees Fahrenheit and around 27.5 inches of mercury vacuum. It will conform to specifications and dimensions outlined in Westinghouse drawing No. 622C939 ''Rubber expansion joint for a 19,000 square feet surface condenser. BRAND NAME PRODUCTS: The Moulded Rubber Expansion Joint called for by this solicitation has been identified in the schedule by a brand name. Bidders quoting on an equal product (including a product of the brand name manufacturer other than the one described by the brand name in the solicitation) will not be considered for award.
