Phone (703)604-2000 Provide a Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM)
study which will lead to an Integrated Maintenance Plan (IMP) and
technical data package. This effort will include non-recurring
engineering; the collection of data for reliability centered
maintenance (RCM), development and validation of a technical data
package for the rework of S-3 type model series aircraft for
introduction into the IMP. The Study will produce a Program Plan which
will include RCM; age exploration; analysis of structurally
significant Items (SSIS) and Maintenance Requirement Card (MRC) tasks;
and recommended phase and task allocations. In FY98 the contractor
will continue rework of aircraft for Data Package Validation and
baseline the aircraft for introduction into the IMP. The Naval Air
Systems Command intends to negotiate this contract with Lockheed Martin
Aeronautical Systems, 86 South Cobb Street Marietta, GA, the only known
designer, developer, and manufacturer and integrator of the S-3 type
model series aircraft Note: Confirmation of funding for this effort has
