The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to award a supply contract to the qualified individual or business capable of providing various types of beverages to the inmates housed at the Federal Medical Center, 3301 Leestown Rd, Lexington, KY. The institution currently houses approximately 2000 inmates and is a major medical referral center for all federal male institutions located in the United States. Supplies include, but are not limited to naturally and artificially flavored carbonated, and non-carbonated beverages. The unit of issue shall be bag in box containers and pre-mix containers. Flavors will be rotated to provide variety. Contractor will be responsible for installing and service a total of seven (7) dispensers, to be located at the Federal Medical Center, Lexington and the Federal Prison Camp, Lexington. The contract period will be for one year from date of award. The anticipated issue date of the solicitation is June 11, 1996, with an anticipated receipt of bids due by July 11, 1996.
