Provide Home Oxygen Service, which includes preventative maintenance and/or rental of oxygen system, between the patient's residence and and the Contractor's storage facility for home patients, serviced by the VA Outpatient Clinic, Columbus OH. Contractor will also give detailed instructions and training to VA beneficiaries on the use of Home Oxygen Equipment and perform routine maintenance as required by the manufacturer of the equipment. Contractor will be on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Contractor must be able to provide emergency service within 2 hours of notification. Contractor must comply with all relative regulations regarding home oxygen services set forth by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Health Organizations (JCAHO). Due to our requirements, it is necessary to restrict this procurement to eligible, qualified contractors who have established facilities within the State of Ohio, able to provide service to the 14 counties in Central Ohio.
