Clark,817/33 4-3974 DESCRIPTION: SIC CODE 1796 - Provide all materials and labor to modernize passenger elevators with VVVF-AC geared, or hydraulic lift systems, including fire service and handicap provisions at various locations as reflected below. Five elevators in Austin, TX, Project Nos. RTX96043, RTX96022, RTX96036, estimated cost range: $250,000 to $500,000; one elevator each in Lawton, OK and Sherman, TX, Project Nos. ROK94014 and RTX95038, estimated cost range: $250,000 to $500,000; three elevators in New Orleans, LA, Project No. RLA86017, estimated cost range: $250,000 to $500,000. The above projects will be grouped together approximately as shown. The prime contractor requirements for these contracts are the following: 1) Perform a minimum of 85% of the work; 2) have a minimum of five (5) years experience installing and servicing elevators of comparable sized elevators, and 3) two comparable installations within the last three (3) years. Pre-Solicitation Notices to be sent about 6/3/96. Bid openings are tentatively scheduled for 7/16/96.
