Description of Work: This project is for the construction of a troop deployment/redeployment facility for the military. The facility consists of a troop terminal, an operations facility and a cargo processing area. The construction will be steel frame with load bearing masonry walls with a brick veneer with a standing seam metal roof. Terminal is approximately 56,000 square feet with a covered bus drop-off area, a 4,600 troop ready area that includes telescopic bleachers, two digital personnal equipment scales and cot storage. The operations/administration area includes pre-wired workstations. The cargo processing area includes a pallet high dock, pallet and net storage area, material handling equipment storage, vehicle fuel/wash station with oil/water separator, vehicle platform scale and pallet scales. The site includes a sentry station, fencing, aircraft training mockups and exterior signage. Supporting facilities include all utilities, electrical service, emergency generator, fire sprinklers, fire protection and alarm systems. The existing nose dock will stay in operation during the construction of the new DAACG, but will be demolished upon completion of construction. Network Analysis System will be required. Estimated cost range of project is from $5,000,000 to $10,000,000. Charge for solicitation documents is $70. Make check payable to F&A Officer.
