The Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, and material to fabricate and deliver within ninety (90) calendar days one (1) wire rope type personnel hoist to be used for access into lock chambers and culvert valve recesses. The hoist shall have a personnel platform approxiamtely two feet wide by four feet long with overhead protection. The personnel hoist shall have a minimum net load capacity of 1200 pounds and a minimum hoisting height capability of 130 feet and shall meet all applicable ANSI and OSHA standards. The unit shall be suitable for an outdoor environment and shall be constructed so as to facilitate normal maintenance. All components shall be selected and assembled into one self-contained unit with maximum system efficiency, controllability and durability. The components shall be compatible and properly matched. Work is estimated to be in the $100,000 to $150,000 range. This procurment is a 100% Small Business Set-aside. SIC Code is 3536 and Size Standard is 500.
